Hypnotherapy Information

You've probably seen stage hypnotists at work, making people cluck like chickens or act like clowns, and you might be thinking, I hope that doesn't happen to me. You might also be worried that you'll disclose some private, secret piece of information that no-one else knows.

First of all, let me assure you that all that is going to happen is that you'll sit back in one of my chairs, and then you'll close your eyes, and within a few minutes you'll be relaxed, simple as that.

Hypnosis is a totally natural state, which varies from a daydream-like trance to a heavy, almost but not quite asleep trance. Throughout this time, you are in control of everything you do. You can open your eyes (which clients often do), you can come out of the trance at any time.

What you should remember is that the people who go up on stage, WANT to be made to act like a clown or cluck like a chicken. Why they would want to do this is another matter, but it's not what we do in hypnotherapy.

The other point to remember is that every session is completely confidential. Everything and anything you might tell me is strictly between you and me, so you can rest assured that whatever you say, will stay within the room. But the bottom line is, if you don't want to tell me, no amount of hypnosis will make you - it just doesn't work that way.
